The founders of LINGVA-BY have completed numerous translation projects, both since the company’s establishment in 2006 and during earlier stages while operating under the auspices of the Francišak Skaryna Belarusian Language Society. Translation Service
We translate text content in various formats, including graphical files and non-editable PDFs. Our work by default includes full TEP cycle (translation, edition, proofreading) and we price our services accordingly. However an economy ‘translation-only’ option is also available. In this case, the translation will be completed by a qualified translator from our pool, but without the additional backup of an editor and proofreader.
Our linguistic vendors are professional translators who are native speakers of the respective languages. Regarding our main specialization—the Belarusian language—we translate both from and into it, drawing directly on the native language community to which we belong.
Editing and Proofreading
Translation services are accompanied by the following professional editorial and proofreading services:
• Editing of translation (checking it against the source, correcting mistranslations, terminology, style, language and other mistakes)
• Proofreading – checking only the target language text, correcting translation errors, terminology issues, stylistic, linguistic, and other mistakes
• Cultural adaptation of texts (localization), upon request.
Revision (editing) and proofreading are included as standard service options in TEP cycle but can be provided separately for translations done by others. Editing and proofreading as separate services are billed by the hour.
Websites and Software Localization
LINGVA-BY can fully or partially translate (localize) your website built on the basis of various technologies and formats.
The price of localization is determined based on the calculation of the total number of words and base translation rates. We take into account the translation speed, language pair, subject matter of the text, layout complexity, localization requirements for graphical elements, etc.
We also provide translation support for your website, which includes prompt translation of news, media reviews, press releases to be placed within the corresponding language version of your website.
LINGVA-BY offers the following software localization services:

• Linguistic testing.
Subtitling, voiceover, dubbing
We can provide subtitling, voiceover and dubbing of your video materials. We maintain an up-to-date pool of voice talents who will make your video sound great in the target language.
